Westfield City Council Vice President John Dippel has lost his battle with cancer. A news release from the city says Dipple died Saturday night at IU North Hospital at the age of 73. Dippel served on the Westfield Town Council and was instrumental in Westfield‘s conversion to a city form of government in 2008.
