In a settlement with a major chemical company, 68 trees at the Delaware County Country Club – extensively damaged by a chemical– are about to be removed. Citing public safety, the golf course will have to close September 16 through the 20th for the work to be done. The grounds staff will also use this time to aerify greens, tees and fairways. The practice facility will remain open as conditions permit.
