Amtrack Service from Chicago to Indianapolis in Jeopardy

A statewide “all aboard” call is going out to save Amtrak service from Chicago to Indianapolis. Indiana must decide by October 1st whether to contribute 3-million dollars annually for the Hoosier State line or service will come to a stop. Congress has eliminated funding for lines like it in 19 states that are shorter than 750 miles.
